In 2008, the SIS Group entered the mechanised cleaning business by obtaining an exclusive master franchise license from The ServiceMaster Corporation, USA (a US$ 3.2 bn enterprise) to operate the ServiceMaster Clean (SMC) brand in India. This collaboration provides knowledge, access to a wide variety of cleaning and janitorial services extending to customers in commercial, hospital, institutions and industrial spaces.

The company was spun-off into a subsidiary in 2009 with a separate management and operating team. The business now has a national footprint and services 500 customers across 300 towns, through a team of over 400 employees. We focus on clients in segments where high standards of cleanliness are required including IT/ITeS, retail chains, large commercial spaces, hospitals, hotels, institutions and industries.

ServiceMaster Clean offers its services through two products:

• Service Master Clean Basic
• Service Master Clean Plus

Service Master Clean Basic is a service designed and delivered around the input desired by customers. The service works on a fixed cost plus basis, by utilising basic equipment and products.
Service Master Clean Plus is a service which is designed and delivered on an output basis ( per square feet, fixed price, fixed KPI basis) where the inputs are decided by the company on the basis of a scientific time and motion study. This model results in savings to the customer and also much higher efficiency & quality of output.
